China's first domestic large cruise ship Adora Magic City undocked from CSSC SWS
On June the 6th, China's first domestic large cruise ship Adora Magic City undocked from CSSC SWS, starting dock mooring test and sea trial before delivery. At present, the readiness of Adora Magic City is 94.62% and 92.159% of the construction is completed.
Adora Magic City started water injection and floating, displacement and undocking operations for 6 days since early morning of June the 1st. By the tilt test, the weight/CG and stability of it were measured. The test results are perfect and the data of weight/CG is controllable.
The 2nd trial will begin in July and August to check the propulsion system, fire alarm and fighting, lifesaving, communication, navigation, vibration, safe return and other functions related to safety; accept the interior of cabin and public area, finish delivery at the year-end.
Adora Magic City is certified by both LR and CCS. It has a tonnage of 13.55DWT, a length of 323.6m, a width of 37.2m, a maximum draft of 8.55m, a maximum speed of 22.6 knots, and 2,125 guestrooms that can hold at most 5,246 passengers
The ship is covered by 5G network and covers over 40,000m2 with 16 decks. It has a performance center, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries, a water park and other recreation sites, as well as the largest duty-free shop at sea and a school with AI and STEAM courses.
